HIC test for fall protection surfaces

We also carry out HIC testing for all types of playground surfacing.

HIC is the abbreviation for Head Injury Criterion and is also called head load value. In a fall protection test, it is measured how a fall on the head from different heights affects the person involved in the accident.

A distinction is made between the different ground conditions. In addition, the climatic conditions also play a role and whether the playground equipment is moving or rigid. Each playground element has its own test protocol.
